How to Style Shelves

Open shelves are either fun or overwhelming. Here are some tips for styling.

1. Choose a color scheme. Select 2-3 colors or tones.

2. Less is more, keep it simple and not too cluttered

3. Add some greenery to bring it to life.

4. Make it functional…I love pretty decorative objects however if you have items to store always use pretty baskets or boxes to store “stuff” in.

5. Keep things balanced.
